Yes, I did announce that last week’s column was to be the last Gross Football Lunch of the season, but I come to you today not to provide an actual column; rather, some quick bits of housekeeping are in order, starting with the final playoff pool results and records against the spread:

With that out of the way, it’s time to talk Blog Business. Again, a big thank you to everyone who joined me for the inaugural season of Gross Football Lunch! It’s been my pleasure to bring it to you the last however many weeks (I don’t have time to count things these days), and I appreciate each and every one of you! That said, it is now my solemn duty to inform you that there will be absolutely no offseason NFL coverage here at Rob Writes About Whatever! I will not blog about free agency, I will not blog about training camps, and you can be damn sure I won’t blog a single thing about the draft! Gross Football Lunch will return to preview the season once it’s time for such things. Expect the same format as this year’s preview, but also expect it to be published on time.
Instead of pretending I’m willing and/or competent to have opinions on draft prospects, I will instead turn my attention to bringing about the miraculous resurrection of the happiest place on the internet: CRPG Corner! I haven’t written about CRPGs in over two and a half years, and let me tell you, I’ve played so many CRPGs in that time. So very many! I have thoughts on all of them to share, and more! There will be reviews! There will be guides! There may be some other stuff, too! I’m excited, and you should be too, dammit!
Right now, I don’t have any sort of publishing schedule worked out; perhaps one will emerge, perhaps not. For now, I’m going to enjoy the joy of writing without a strict weekly deadline hanging over my head. But there’s a lot of stuff I want to bring you, so I’m hoping to keep churning out the blogs frequently. For now, know this: I have already started my first review, and for those of you who remember the glory days of the old CRPG Corner, I assure you, it is long overdue. You won’t want to miss it!
