NHL ’94 is nothing less than the Tecmo Super Bowl of hockey. It is easy to learn, easy to play, and fun for just about everyone, even people who aren’t really into the actual sport of hockey. The game is universally beloved among all who have ever played it, as a result.
But, like every other sports game this side of NBA Jam, NHL ’94 has a bit of a learning curve, especially when you play with penalties and line changes. You gotta figure out puck movement and passing, and if you are playing with line changes, it’s in your best interests to figure out how to substitute on the fly without leaving your goalie all alone on the ice by themselves.
In order to help ease this burden for new players, I’ve compiled a list of the best ways to score goals in NHL ’94. If you can score lots and lots of goals, you can put yourself in excellent position to win, regardless of the quality of opposition.
Without further ado, the list!
